ArtHamptons Fine Art Fair

Top Ten Reasons to Exhibit

  1. THE PLACE TO SEE and BE SEEN — ArtHamptons has become one of the nations’ “top new fairs” in terms of sales, status, selection, media support and patron affluence and influence. Several galleries indicated it was their “best” fair of the year. Expect even more in our third year.
  2. RICH and KNOWLEDGEABLE ART BUYERS — Not everybody is a billionaire, but we match our ratio of ‘very rich’ per thousand attendees with any fair in the nation. Our attendees are discriminating, demanding and savvy.
  3. NOT JUST NEW YORKERS — In addition to those living, visiting and vacationing in the Hamptons (from NYC and the surrounding areas), our attendees also included serious art admirers from across the nation as well as the international jet set.
  4. A FAST GROWING SHOW — Bucking the 2009 downward trend, our show in 2009 actually grew 33% in terms of floor space and number of galleries over 2008.
  5. THE BEST WEEKEND — It’s the height of the summer season–just one week after July 4 when the population soars from 75,000 to over 300,000. It’s at the apex of the fundraising and social event season.
  6. PRIME LOCATION — Strategically located in the center of the Hamptons in the prestigious town of Bridgehampton (one of the 10 highest priced zip codes in America, according to Forbes.) The fair is just two short blocks from the main thoroughfare running through the Hamptons (Montauk Highway) and located in a popular spot next to the largest shopping mall in the Hamptons.
  7. CUSTOM-BUILT TENT STRUCTURE — We assemble five interconnected Anchorspan modular structures on five acres. They are fully-enclosed, floored, carpeted, air-conditioned, sound-proof tent/buildings, with 24-hour tight security. We even have our own spacious parking lot on the property.
  8. UNPRECEDENTED PROMOTION and MEDIA SUPPORT — In 2009, ArtHamptons attracted an impressive 24 media sponsors/partners–from TV, magazine, newspaper and the internet. They all agreed on one thing, ArtHamptons is the place to be in July. We even have our own 1-hour TV special airing all weekend.
  9. IMPRESSIVE PATRON SUPPORT — ArtHamptons’ audience is bolstered by an elite set of organizations. 2009 included a YPO/WPO summer get-together, several investment firms entertaining their high-net worth clients, members of the Whitney and Guggenheim museums, patrons of the Parrish, Guild Hall, Nassau and Heckscher museums.
  10. WHY CLOSE FOR SUMMER VACATION — when you can turn your vacation into a prime selling and networking opportunity in America’s No.1 summer resort.

Paying Homage to the Hamptons Art Tradition
During the past century, over 700 ”important” American and internationally recognized artists have lived or worked in the Hamptons. The East End has been a fertile terrain for serious and intelligent art buying and art patronage. Currently, 3,000 artists live in this art mecca. In 2010, we again pay homage to the area’s respected tradition as a world recognized fine art marketplace by staging ArtHamptons.

Benefit From Our Festival-like Setting
The ArtHamptons benefit opening and its other weekend long fund-raising events have become one of the highlights of the Hamptons social season. ArtHamptons is filled with renowned art admirers and art acquirers in a festive-like setting. In addition to the Wall Street set, we attract from a cross-section of creative fields such as entertainment, design, architecture, fashion and the celebrity business. Brimming with high-net worth individuals in a fun and glamorous setting, ArtHamptons ignites the creative sparks as attendees meander through the world-class galleries, networking with dealers, interior designers, posing for press pictures and being interviewed.
